After a good night’s sleep you wake up to perhaps the highlight of the tour – opening your eyes on a beautiful sunrise over the river and an early morning visit to the riverside temple to make your own traditional offerings to the Buddhist monks
.

Breakfast in hotel, pick up and drive to an elephant camp north of Chiang Mai where you watch these majestic creatures during training, work and their favorite pastime - bathing in the river. Afterwards ride for about 1 hour on elephant back though the forest up to Mae Saa valley resort, where lunch is served.

The cruise is really a rare opportunity to experience the true traditional life of the Thai people and in a very comfortable style. While breakfast is served on board your boat continues to cruise upriver to the Royal summer palace Bang Pa In which we will reach at about 10 a. m.. Guided tour of the residence, 11: 30 a. m., depart by long- tailed speed boat - an exhilarating 45 minutes drive to Ayutthaya, one of the former capitals of the kingdom. Lunch at a local riverside restaurant, followed by guided tour of the impressive ruins. Transfer approx. 35 minutes to Bangkok airport. Depart by THAI Airways TG166 to Pitsanuloke in central Thailand, BBQ dinner and overnight at the ***** AMARIN LAGOON HOTEL

The afternoon is reserved for the visit to a Meo Mae Saa hill tribes before we return to Chiang Mai. In the evening enjoy a typical northern KANTOKE DINNER and a folkloristic show

CHIANGMAI - PHUKET

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight via Bangkok to Phuket the “Pearl of the Andaman Sea”. After arrival (about 12: 20 p. m.) transfer to your first class hotel - the **** PEARL VILLAGE RESORT, situated in Nai Yang National Park on one of the finest beaches of the island. The Thai style resort is set in 35 acres of landscaped tropical gardens facing the impeccable beach. It offers big swimming pool, a wide range of water sports activities, horseback and elephant riding, bar, 3 restaurants and much more. The lovingly decorated Thai style rooms feature bathroom, air- condition, TV, Tel, fridge. Dinner in the excellent open- air restaurant of the hotel.
 
SUKOTHAI - LAMPOON - CHIANG MAI
After breakfast in hotel, visit by coach of Sukothai, the first capital of the Kingdom of Siam and its outpost Sri Satchanalai. Lunch is enroute. Continue by bus to Lampoon approx. 75 km. where you will visit Wat Haripoonchai the most sacred monument of the north, dating back to 1157AD.
 

PHUKET - PHANG NGA BAY

 

Breakfast in hotel, full day excursion to one of Phuket’s greatest natural wonders of the island - Phang Nga Bay. By boat you pass bizarre limestone formations among them the famous “James Bond Rock” where part of the movie “The Man with the Golden Gun” was shot. BBQ lunch is served on the secluded island of Ko Pany. Before returning to Phuket visit Suwan Kuha Buddhist Cave. Around 7: 30 p. m., Thai specialty dinner in the authentic teakwood restaurant PAE TIP of the Pearl Village hotel. The chef has promised to make this an unforgettable evening.

Then we check in **** CHIANG MAI PLAZA HOTEL  one of the best hotels in town which offers any facility you expect from a truly first class house. It is centrally located, the night market and the fish market with many good seafood restaurants can be reached on foot. Buffet dinner in the excellent restaurant of the hotel. (Driving distance 335 km / 203 miles.)
