Dear Alex:
As promised, here are my memoirs of Cabo after just getting back late last night.
IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!
Norm and I had a great week and as you might already know we even went out a
second time, last Friday on the Bad Company. However, let's get back to the first
trip on Wednesday. First thing, Norm catches a 57 pound dorado. Then comes my
highlight,
a 110 lb. sailfish that Andres nailed on the second strike. What a rush! It was
a gorgeous fish. Norm then ended the day with a 35 lb. dorado which ended up
as lunch at the Stoplight and dinner at our condo. Alex joined us for lunch and
Marcel cooked up a storm. A fitting end to a great
day.
Friday, I started things off with a small dorado which released itself on the
prop. (Didn't want it anyway, so it was O.K. with me.) Then Norm got the fish
of the day with a 140 lb. striped marlin that was a screamer. It was Norm's first
marlin and he was
ecstatic. What a trip!
As if you can't tell we had a fabulous time. Alex and Andres were super and we
plan to do the trip again next year or in 2000. Next time we might even go on
the 33 footer. We will
probably have a few extra friends on the next trip down.
Anyway, Mike, thanks for setting up the fishing for us and we definitely plan
on going through you again. Take care and have good luck on your upcoming trip
to Cabo.
Best wishes,
Bob Norton

Dear Alex:
Just a short note to thank you for a great time fishing while we were in Cabo.
We had a great Captain, Manuel, and Alex was very helpful he even picked us up
at our hotel on our day of fishing. In the first hour out, we hooked into a sailfish,
it was lost, but what a
thrill for a first time visitor to Cabo!!
The boat was wonderfully equipped and the ride very comfortable and made enjoyable
by our marlin were found. I got to fight, land and release my first ever marlin,
a beautiful 125 pound stripped. The captain and mate did a supreme job controlling
the boat and helping this first time marlin fisherman land his dream fish. Within
20 minutes of releasing this fish, my wife got to hook into her first ever marlin.
What a thrill for her, and me! We video taped the whole thing, and what a great
day we had.
On the way back to port, the captain even took us through the famous arch of
Cabo, he backed the boat almost right up to the sea lions there and let us video
tape these as well. He and the mate whose name escapes me, showed a truly remarkable
time for our first visit! We will definitely be back and will most definitely
use your services again. The boat was perfectly equipped and the crew very helpful
and friendly. Once again, thank you
for making our trip a memorable one!
p.s. You have my permission to use this on your web page if you so desire. Also,
if you could send me some info costs, time of year etc to come to Baja for the
blue and black
marlin, I would appreciate it.
Thank you,
Ed & Debbie Sioui
